Our Path to Preparedness
We started our prepping because we were concerned about food security. I learned how to can food years ago when times were hard, and I had access to an abundance of fresh food. We preferred the taste of the home preserved foods. After we purchased our home, we began to be really serious about preserving on a larger scale. The Facebook group "Prepping" was started by a group of canners that were trying to share resources and locations where we could purchase vegetables in bulk for canning.
